This past year as been filled with everything but posting to our blog. I decided it was time to get that updated somewhat. It has been great having Gregg home these past 10 months or so. After Gregg returned from Kuwait we bought a Boxer and named her Daisy. We then found out we were pregnant in January. I was quite sick for the first 3-4 months. I taught ESL again in the Gulfport School District this past year. May 25th was last day of teaching in Mississippi. I will be staying at home with Ethan this next year. We are in for quite a few adjustments with Gregg being gone and the Ethan arriving. Gregg has had a busy homeport with all his responsibilities and gearing up for deployment. He also has been busy painting various rooms in the house. The last one being Ethan's room.
Gregg leaves for Afghanistan at the beginning of August and will return sometime in February. He will not have the same communication capabilities that he had last deployment. Telephoning and the internet are not as accessible. We'll (Ethan and I, and you if you'd like) will be sending him care packages, letters, postcards with our love and a bit of fun. I am thankful he is in only gone about 6 1/2 -7 months rather than a year as some other branches.
Keep us in your prayers. I will try to keep current on postings. Gregg will not be able to get much information out, but I have asked him to keep me updated on his prayer requests for himself and the troops.
